Ever since I graduated from university, I've been yearning to get out into the workforce. Everywhere I went, I was keen on observing everyone working around me. What intrigued me the most were the street vendors, taho men, fish and fruit vendors, and etc... Are they really simple jobs? Scaling the fish, carrying two gallons of taho for hours, selecting the best fruits are definitely not as simple as you think. These jobs require skill and experience. Don't be fooled by these manual laborers. I'm sure many of them work just as hard as the CEO of the biggest company in the Philippines (in a different way of course).
While I've been stressing over the wait for job offers, my friends and family have been telling me to "relax and enjoy because there's no turning back." As I contemplate over their advices, I realize they're absolutely right! However, work will not get off my mind that easily. As I take a break, I made a few sketches for my future paintings, all revolving around the theme: hard labour.
These are wonderful!
